We are working on behalf of a leading independent catering company in the UK, providing high-quality, freshly prepared meals to thousands of people in schools and workplaces every day. We are currently seeking a Head Chef to lead one of their school catering teams. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, managing the team, overseeing stock control, and planning menus.

The ideal candidate will come with experience of working in a high volume kitchen along with a genuine passion for fresh food. You should ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or an equivalent qualification. In return, we offer a competitive salary for a 40-hour workweek. Typical shift patterns are either from 6am to 2pm or 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends worked on a rotating basis (one in every three weekends).
