We are currently recruiting a proactive and warmFood and Beverage Assistants (Casual - Minimum 20 Hours Per Week Capacity)to be a part of our main Guest Heartbeat Culinary Gem of the Hotel, the Food and Beverage Department.

Key qualities we are looking from the Food and Beverage Assistant (Casual - Minimum 20 Hours Per Week Capacity):

As Food and Beverage Assistant you will be required to deliver impeccable first class Guest Service to each and every Guest that dines in our divineQuadratoRestaurant and Lounge. You will serve our Hot and cold Beverages and suggest items from theQuadratoRestaurant and Lounge Menu. You will be responsible for the impeccable presentation of the Restaurant and Bar Lounge areas, ensuring that every area is in an immaculate presentation for each Guest arrival. Altogether with the driven and welcoming Food and Beverage Team around you, your drive with ultra finass for creating rememberable Guest Service will support the Food and Beverage Manager in representing theQuadratoRestaurant and Lounge.

The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Knowledge:

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience within a similar Food and Beverage Assistant role within the Hospitality 5* Hotel Industry.

Must have strong awareness of the importance of Food Safety with Health and Safety with supporting the Food and Beverage Management team in that this is adhered to at all times.

Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Excellent communication skills.

Positive attitude.

Commitment to delivering a high level of impeccable Guest Service.

Excellent grooming standards.

Having flexibility with regards to working hours with working late shifts.

The main responsibilities for this role would include:

Welcoming all guests upon arrival to theQuadratoRestaurant and Lounge with providing immaculate Guest Service by warmly walking them to their tables.

With training, have full and complete knowledge of allQuadratoHot and Cold Beverages and full dishes Menus which you will excellently describe to each and every Guest.

Taking all Guest order requirements with serving all food and beverage dishes professionally and efficiently, ensuring all guests have everything they require.

Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of theQuadratoRestaurant and Lounge are in an immaculate presentation.

Using the restaurant point of sale system (Marcos) to place orders and process all Guests payments correctly.

Carrying out daily duties as required by the Food and Beverage Management team.

Directing any guest complaints to the Food and Beverage Management team.

Ensuring that your knowledge of all Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel facilities is up to date in order to confidently upsell to guests if the opportunity arises.

Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in an immaculate presentation in accordance to the Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel Grooming Standards.

Observe all Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.

Attend any training that has been set up to grow your personal development.
