Stock Controller, Euro Car Parks Marylebone, London

Salary £24,000 to £30,000 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stock Controller at Euro Car Parks, a renowned national car parking operator and property company, which has been in business for 48 years. Based full time in our head office in Marylebone, London, you will be working at the centre of our technology department with exposure to the most advanced equipment currently available to market with opportunities to learn and progress with the business.

Ideally suited to an individual with a keen technical interest that is a well-organised person that is able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, together with a working knowledge of stock management principles. In this role you will take an active part in the sustainment and continuous improvement of stock integrity control measures by carrying out daily physical inventory tasks, stock investigation and reporting on stock variances. We will provide in-house training enabling a full understanding of the wide range of systems and technology in use.

Euro Car Parks is one of the leading UK providers of innovative and technology-based car parking solutions using advanced digital data capture and transmission. Providing specialist car parking services to a wide range of blue chip clients throughout the UK we are currently looking to extend our busy technical department and recruit a Stock Controller to join our team. Working in a busy department you will provide the logistical support to the technical department.

Location: London - NW1

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30pm

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Inventory Management:

  • Overseeing the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to guarantee stock levels and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock replenishment.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
  • Preparing and dispatching stock required for the installation and support teams ensuring correct labelling and packaging.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation in the stock location and keep tidy.
  • Booking in of all deliveries, ensuring they match the purchase order and carrying out basic inspection checks.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and analyse reports on inventory levels and stock movement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving stock management.
  • Investigate and report on short shipments and handle daily and weekly reporting requirements.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the procurement, project management and technical support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy for incoming and outgoing loads, making adjustments as needed.

Equipment Pre-Assembly:

  • Building cabinets
  • Configuring cameras, tablets and routers
  • Carry out minor assembly operations for works orders

Experience, skills and aptitude required:

Can work under pressure, multitask, work to deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail

Being able to work independently as well as building strong relationships with other teams

Must be adaptable to assist in all areas with a flexible approach

Clear communication skills

Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office

Great customer service
