Job Description
Search Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside our client on the Isle of Arran for a full time Kitchen Porter on a 3-6 month contract.
Shift: Rota based (when at the location the clients will issue you your Rota)
Must be flexible
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour
Requirements:
Must have a PVG to be considered for the role
Must have at least 6 months Kitchen porter experience
Must have good attention to detail
Must have good time management skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Duties include:
Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitised
Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
Keep the food and supply storage areas organised
Take out the garbage
Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
The role is in Arran which means you will need to get Ferry from Ardrossan. The client will cover the costs of getting to and from the island (Foot passengers only)
Free live in accommodation will also be provided on the days you are on rota to work.
