An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to take the helm of the kitchen at a popular and highly respected Italian restaurant in London, part of a reputable hospitality group.

As Head Chef, you will lead a dynamic team of 10 chefs, overseeing an all-day dining menu crafted from the finest, seasonal ingredients. With everything produced in-house, the menu reflects the best of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, serving up to 200 covers daily, plus private dining room (PDR) functions.

• Kitchen Management: Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Menu Development: Collaborate to create seasonal dishes that uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality.
• Financial Control: Manage GP, stock control, and ordering to achieve financial targets.
• Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and support junior chefs, nurturing talent within the team.
• Service Excellence: Ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume services and special events.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the wider management team to ensure continued success and uphold the restaurants reputation.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume Italian/Mediterranean kitchen.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating a team.
• Sound understanding of GP, stock management, and operational efficiency.
• Creativity and knowledge of seasonal Italian/Mediterranean cuisine.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure.
