We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade in an historic hotel near Oakham. The Chef de Partie will support the senior Chefs with ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times in the preparation and service of food.

The hotel has a restaurant and courtyard for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner service, as well as private dining options and functions too. They are focused on producing excellent food using the best of local seasonal produce.

- Basic salary up to £31,000 dependent on experience + TRONC
- 48 hour contract
- 4 days on, 3 days off

The Person
The ideal Chef de Partie will have the following:
- Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at a similar style property at CDP level
- Confidence to deputise for the Sous Chef, run a section and support more junior team members
- High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation
- Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen
- Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment
- As the hotel is located near Oakham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
