We are looking to recruit full-time waken night-shift staff members to join our Scone Service.
Shifts are on a rota working 4 on and 4 off 10PM-8AM
We support over 2800 individuals with a variety of needs, some may have physical and/or learning disabilities and Mental Health some with limited verbal communication and some with challenging behaviour.
You will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning & development team prior to starting. This training initially consists of classroom-based sessions and e-learning as well as the opportunity to shadow current Support Practitioners in their day-to-day role and meet the people you will be supporting.
About the Role:
Your responsibilities as a Support Practitioner could include:
?Social Support- Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming etc.
?Medical Support- Administering and monitoring medication.
?Personal Care- Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, incontinence care.
?Practical Support- Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.
