A great restaurant based in Haywards Heath are looking for a Head Chef to join the brigade in assisting preparing food to agreed high standards.

Based in a great location, with beautiful views, on top of a great salary of up to £40,000 per annum, there are outstanding career opportunities to develop and progress

Key Information:
Salary: £40,000 based on 40 hours plus paid overtime
Hours: 7-3 or 8-4 5/7 days
Location: Haywards Heath

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard
Hiring and keeping the best people
Coaching, developing and mentoring your chef team to success
Creatively input towards our menus, dishes and specials
Drive standards and knowledge to create food
Make the kitchen the heart of your pub
Provide input and deliver your forecasts and budgets
Deliver your food control measures

Candidate Requirements:
Experience as a Head Chef
Experience in high volume kitchens
Be comfortable and positive talking with both guests and teams
Be passionate about using fresh and seasonal produce
Be great at motivating your team, leading by example
Be organised and have a flexible approach to working hours
