An inviting family-run restaurant and bar in the heart of North Wales is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to enhance our culinary team. With new ownership, brand new equipment, and a commitment to the highest standards of customer service, food, and atmosphere, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious culinary professional.

Sous Chef Ideal Profile:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a gastro pub or similar dining environment
• Passionate about creating exceptional dishes and menu planning
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing kitchen staff and operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments and make quick decisions

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management including menu creation, inventory, and staff supervision
• Ensure the culinary standards and goals of the establishment are met by maintaining high levels of food quality, hygiene, and safety
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes that align with the restaurant's vision
• Manage and train kitchen staff effectively to ensure a cohesive and efficient team
• Oversee the kitchen's daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
