Job Description
Work with Vista have a superb opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to work within a 3 bed SEMH home based in Stockport SK13 providing care and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and helping them achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
* Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs.
* Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable.
* Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
* Previous experience supporting children with various needs is an advantage.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and reporting on client progress.
Salary:
£31,469 - £34,934 ( including sleeps ) working full time permanent hours, plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities
