Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Head of Facilities and Engineering to oversee and manage our extensive portfolio of properties. This executive role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our facilities, enhancing guest satisfaction, and upholding our commitment to quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large team of regional and on-property Chief Engineers.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and improvement of all facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.
  • Coordinate with property management to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the engineering team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
