WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

nnProvides support for implementation, troubleshooting andnnmaintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages ITnnsystem infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.nnProvides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations,nnmonitoring and problem resolution for all of thennclient/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. ProvidesnnTier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification,nndiagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for thennescalation and communication of status to agency management andnninternal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system andnnhardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.nnConfigures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systemsnnand installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots,nnmaintains integrity and configures network components along withnnimplementing operating systems enhancements to improvenreliability and performance.

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance ofnIT systems
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, andnresolution of problems
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of ITnsystems
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problemnidentification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations,nmonitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/networkndevices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agencynmanagement and internal customers
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform systemncapacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internalncustomers for escalated tickets
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remainninvolved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operatingnsystems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintainnintegrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operatingnsystems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Admin. in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Admin. experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Eligible for PRIVAC
  • Current Security+ certification
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL): expert level installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Security measures mandated for government systems processing highly sensitive information: experienced in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting
  • Customer specific security status tracking/monitoring/reporting tools: Proficient
Desired skills:
  • Ansible
  • Remote system management/maintenance
  • Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) applications on mission-critical systems: installation/troubleshooting/maintenance
  • Splunk, Elastic Search, or other status aggregating tools
  • Virtualizatio
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernettes)
  • Apache Niagara Files (NiFi), HTTP server, Tomcat
  • Centrify/Delinea
  • FreeIPA

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Clearence Level Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
