Hybrid - Cluster Revenue Manager, London Competitive Salary + Benefits + Bonus
We're proud to be working exclusively with Yotel again as we collaborate with their leadership team on their new recruitment campaign which is part of an exciting longer-term growth plan. We’re looking for multiple Cluster Revenue Managers to join their dynamic commercial team based in the London HQ.
The ideal candidates will be experienced Multi-Property Revenue Managers and be highly analytical, commercially minded, and strong communicators. Due to the nature of the role, you’ll need to be creative and methodical in your approach as well as being well-versed in stakeholder management. Experience working with city centre portfolios would be advantageous due to the properties you’ll be managing in this role.
The Role:
Responsible for maximizing the overall revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies by each market segment for the assigned hotels in Europe.
Responsibilities:
· Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance
· Implement pricing strategy set for all market segments, distribution channels and Conference and Events
· Effectively manage and be in control of all inventory
· Ensure all distribution channels are optimised and managed accordingly
· Implement Sales and Pricing Strategies set by Senior Cluster Revenue Manager for all hotels
· Produce accurate monthly forecasts
· Daily reviews and implements room accommodation and rate inventory controls
· Manages Group and Transient inventory for all hotels in the region
· Responsible for quoting for groups and supporting hotels in managing groups in line with contracts and according to demand, including reviewing all tentative and definite group bookings in PMS to ensure accuracy
· Works with hotel Reservations and Front Office to ensure agreed selling strategies are in place and worked towards (i.e. Overbooking and sell out efficiency)
· Monitors and adjusts sales, groups, and pricing strategies
· Actively participates in weekly revenue meetings
· Ensures pricing consistency across all distribution channels (Rate Parity)
· Liaises with market managers from 3rd party channel partners
· Implements all blackout dates and reviews frequently to determine if adjustments are needed
· Provides analysis of yield strategies, room statistics and performance trends
· Constantly check and review the quality of data between the PMS and RMS
· Writes and reviews end-of-month revenue reports for each hotel such as booking pace, competitive share analysis and segmentation reports
· Conducts displacement analysis of group business and sales negotiations to ascertain potential impact of business decisions on RevPAR and TrevPAR
· Accurately forecast within the industry standard - 5%
· Prepares reports and other materials for regular meetings and business processeParticipate in the property’s weekly Revenue Management Meeting Business Review Meeting
· Analyse and understand market trends to communicate opportunities with the Senior Cluster Revenue Manager
· Reviews all competitive shops daily and identifies selling strategies, opportunities, and market trends
· Ensure all system that are used are audited and meeting the YOTEL RevenueIndicator standards
· Reviews demand and event dates to keep ahead of all demand indicators
· Maintains historical data on events and performance, tracking effectively for future strategy setting
