Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Marine Paint Inspector to oversee our clients marine coatings project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the application of marine paints and coatings on various vessels, ensuring that all projects meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation, application, and inspection of marine coatings on various vessels.
Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Keep up to date with new products, technologies, and methods in marine coatings.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in marine coatings application and management.
Knowledge of marine paint systems, surface preparation, and application techniques.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team liaison.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the marine industry.
Basic level of IT skills, Excel, Word etc
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in marine coatings or industrial painting (e.g., Train the Painter or equivalent).
Knowledge of marine standards.
Experience with budget management and project costing.
Level 3 ICORR/NACE inspector
SC Clearance although we can assist withRates & Hours
Site is open 7 days a week
