About the role:
Craft and deliver dynamic history lessons that ignite students' curiosity and enhance their understanding of key historical events and themes.
Design inclusive lesson plans tailored to meet the varied needs and learning styles of all students, ensuring a supportive classroom environment.
Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive, engaging, and respectful learning atmosphere.
Cultivate strong, positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic development and passion for history.
Gain valuable experience in a dynamic school environment, with opportunities to grow professionally and make a meaningful contribution to the school community.
The ideal candidate must:
Have the right to work within the UK
Have experience working within a classroom
DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
Good knowledge of History curriculum
Have strong classroom management skills.
A QTS, PGCE, or Overseas equivalent qualification
