Role Overview:
As a Health Care Assistant in our care home, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents, helping them with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and supporting them with both their physical and emotional needs. This is a rewarding role that requires compassion, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support residents with mobility, ensuring they are safe and comfortable at all times.
* Provide assistance with feeding, ensuring that residents' dietary needs are met.
* Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
* Assist in the administration of medication, as required (training provided).
* Build positive, supportive relationships with residents and their families.
* Participate in and assist with recreational activities to promote well-being.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
* Support in the preparation and upkeep of care plans and assist with the delivery of individualised care
