We’re working in conjunction with an award-winning hotel agency who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their forward-thinking and exciting team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a team-oriented individual with experience in identifying market opportunities and expanding client relationships to achieve results. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to interact professionally with directors, colleagues, and clients. Previous experience in digital products or hospitality is preferred but not required. The successful candidate is expected to commit long-term to the role and company.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse financial performance to develop cost-cutting strategies and enhance future revenue.
* Conduct market research to discover new opportunities and collaborate with executives to create pursuit strategies.
* Utilize LinkedIn to generate leads and opportunities.
* Conduct product demonstrations and follow up on client leads.
* Foster a sales-focused culture within the company.
* Generate and analyse business reports.
* Cultivate new partnerships and revenue sources.
* Monitor market trends and competitors.
* Develop sales proposals for existing and potential clients.
* Collaborate in product development planning.
* Participate in client meetings and industry events.
* Deliver and support sales presentations.
* Maintain and track sales funnels in Hubspot.
* Prepare growth budgets and monitor revenue targets.
* Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to internal team members.
Requirements
* Qualification in marketing, business, accounting or related
* 2+ years’ experience working in a business development role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High Level of Emotional intelligence
* Able to demonstrate vision & leadership skills
* Top-notch analytical skills — you must have an eye for detail!
* Able to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed
