Staffing Manager Needed for a Unique Hospitality Events Company - West End Up To £40,000 +Bonuses + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Staffing Manager to join a company in the heart of the West End. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for an experienced Staffing Manager who can deliver on the upkeep on all aspects of recruitment. This role requires a dynamic individual with a high understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to effectively manage staffing needs to ensure smooth daily operations
The Duties:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various hospitality roles
- Directs, plans and works with other managers
- Be able to analyse budgets, forecasting and expenditure
- Coordinate and manage the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Working closely with the Directors & other departments
- Conduct onboarding processes for new hires, including training on company policies, customer service standards, and safety protocols
- Address staffing shortages or last-minute changes and arrange for replacements or overtime if necessary
- Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
- Implement training and development programs to enhance staff skills and performance
- Track and report on staffing metrics such as attendance, overtime, turnover, and employee satisfaction
- Serve as the main point of contact for staff-related inquiries, issues, or concerns
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experience in a similar hospitality staffing recruitment business including temp recruitmernt agencies
- Must have a warm and engaging personality
- Coordinate with external staffing agencies when necessary to fulfill staffing requirements
- Must be able to monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for staffing improvements based on customer satisfaction data
- MUST have experience in a recruitment environment
- Able to communicate at all levels and give clear direction to the staff members
- Flexible to work various shifts
- Have a proven track record in managing teams and improving staff performance
- Good computer skills
- Have a "can do" attitude
- Ability to manage conflict, resolve staffing issues, and maintain a positive team environment
- Good telephone manners and is well groomed
- Be able to give verbal and written communication at all times
- Have a high attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record within a staffing/recruitment hospitality environment.
