Hotel Head Chef - Wokingham
We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen brigade at a beautiful newly refurbished 4* hotel near Wokingham. The Head Chef will take control and oversee all the hotel F&B outlets; restaurants, alfresco dining, the bar and lounge, banqueting and room service, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Our client is a 4*, 92 bedroom hotel with conference, meeting and wedding spaces set within an elegant Victorian mansion house, surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside on the outskirts of Wokingham.
The Person
The ideal Head Chef will have the following:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a fresh food hotel kitchen as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef if from a 5* hotel
- Experience in banqueting and events is a must
- A creative approach to seasonally changing menus and a busy multi outlet operation
- High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation.
- A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm to lead and train your team .
- True team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way!
- Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
- Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
As the hotel is located on the outskirts of Wokingham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
