Job Description
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in Long Beach, California. As a Project Assistant, your main role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our office and lot spaces, handle inventory, and manage pricing. This role is crucial in maintaining order and efficiency in our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining the office and lot spaces for optimal functionality.
- Handling inventory management tasks, including monitoring and recording items.
- Pricing items accurately and keeping track of the same.
- Conducting regular reviews of inventory to determine items to sell.
- Utilizing basic office skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Implementing data entry tasks efficiently.
- Liaising between various departments to ensure clear communication and effective operations.
- Assisting in the clearance of lot spaces as and when required.
- Ensuring all customer inquiries are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Reviewing and updating customer credit records regularly. Requirements - Proven experience in a similar role such as Project Assistant or Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in Data Entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Experience with Pricing, including cost estimation and budgeting
- Possession of Basic Office Skills, including file management, email correspondence, and schedule coordination
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding solutions
- A minimum of a high school diploma, though further education in business administration or a related field is preferred.
