MaineHealth is seeking an additional full-time board certified/eligible Neurologist to join our Neurohospitalist team. Primary inpatient responsibilities are at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland, the state’s leading tertiary care hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and the region’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center. Inpatient neurology is a teaching service with a growing Neurology residency started in 2020, rotating Tufts University Medical School students, and Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residents.
The ideal candidate:
- Have inpatient experience, strong organizational skills, collaborative and critical thinking
- Have an interest in being part of a purposefully-developed Neurohospitalist service
- Fellowship training/special interest in vascular neurology or neurohospitalist experience is welcome but is not required.
