Hotel Operations Manager - Near Woking
We are currently looking for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager for a role within a beautiful hotel near to Woking, to join the on site management team. This role is hands on and ideal for someone who is passionate about leading from the front. This hotel is known for it's ballroom, weddings and a wide range of events.
The Perks

- A salary £38,000 plus service

Our client is an elegant mansion set in the beautiful countryside of Surrey surrounded by woodland and formal gardens, yet only minutes from the centre of Woking. This Edwardian mansion house with 67 bedrooms is also used for conferences, meetings and weddings. Having undergone significant refurbishment it is a prime venue choice in Surrey.

The Person
The Operations Manager will have:
- Maintain cost controls across the operational departments of the property in line with company ratios and targets
- Work with the maintenance and estates team to maintain a high level of health and safety compliance in the hotel
- To have worked in a similar setting and standard
- Continue to maintain brand standards across the site to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee day to day operations of the hotel, inclusive of Front Office, Food and Beverage, Conference and Banqueting and Kitchens
- Previous management experience in hotels to a minimum of Head of Department level in an operational department
- A warm and friendly personality, with a flair for recognising and exceeding guest expectations
- Proven experience delivering and running weddings and exclusive high end events of 100+ covers
- Experience in hotel weddings, ideally a knowledge of OPERA
- Organised, well presented and live local to Woking with own transport
- You must be able to work a mixture of shifts; evenings and weekends, bank holidays in line with the business needs and events
