Scientific Officer (m/f/d) Institute for Medical and pharmaceutical examination questions - Institution under public law with legal capacity - In close cooperation with expert committees, the Institute for Medical and Pharmaceutical Examinations (IMPP) is responsible for the content of important parts of the nationwide state examinations for medicine, pharmacy, psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic training, and in the near future also for dentistry. The state examinations are continuously being developed and new examination formats are being tested. Through its wide-ranging tasks, the IMPP, as the central institution for all federal states based in Mainz, makes a significant contribution to the quality assurance of training and the comprehensive healthcare of our population. The Department of Examinations and Information Technology is looking for a Media IT Specialist (m/f/d) Your tasks: Design, administration and further development of the central IT systems Planning, implementation and monitoring of IT standards, including IT security and license and patch management Analysis and resolution of technical problems at 2nd level Implementation and documentation of central data backup Technical administration of the central databases Supervision of media and IT technology for conferences, digital meetings and recordings Responsibility for video productions (recording and video editing) as part of video-based testing and teaching materials Maintenance, servicing, expansion and further development of media, conference and recording technology and its integration into the IT environment Contact person (m/f/d) for employees with questions regarding the use of media, conference and recording technology Collaboration in projects Your qualifications: University degree in (media) computer science, engineering or mathematics (bachelor's or university of applied sciences degree) or training as a computer science technician (m/f/d), media computer scientist (m/f/d) or IT specialist (m/f/d) with several years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of planning, designing, setting up and operating complex IT infrastructures, in particular Server hardware, virtualization technology (preferably HyperV), Layer 1-3 switch, SAN concepts and experience in operation, LTO backup robot, Windows server operating system, Linux, Windows AD, Windows 10 operating system, IT security concepts, VOIP telephone systems, firewall technology Knowledge of streaming, video conferencing, recording and video editing technology Strong teamwork and communication skills Strong ability to work independently, systematically and carefully High level of commitment, sense of responsibility and reliability What we offer you: A varied and interesting job in a committed interprofessional team High job security with an employer in the public sector Extensive, needs-oriented and individual training and further education opportunities An attractive pension scheme as part of the public sector An attractive workplace in a central location in Mainz with good accessibility by public transport Discounted Germany ticket as a job ticket Possibility to use the DB Cargo restaurant The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.
