As an Asst. Architectural Team Lead, you would be responsible for initiating and assisting the oversight of Trileaf's architectural projects from conception to completion. You would leverage your experience in field conditions, building materials, specifications, construction techniques, as well as building codes and permitting to guide a subset of Trileaf's clients and staff to success.

As an Asst. Architectural Team Lead, you would be responsible for initiating and assisting the oversight of Trileaf's architectural projects from conception to completion. You would leverage your experience in field conditions, building materials, specifications, construction techniques, as well as building codes and permitting to guide a subset of Trileaf's clients and staff to success.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the management of clients:
- Provide consistent, high-quality communication to all stakeholders throughout the design process
- Serve as Trileaf's primary point of contact for designated clients
- Deliver regular status updates to clients
- Assist with initial project programming, scope development, and project pricing discussions
- Conduct initial project intake and assist with assignment to staff
- Oversee the development and maintenance of client design manuals and templates
- Communicate client design changes to designers as they occur
- Conduct an initial QA/QC of deliverables
- Ensure the completion of projects on time, with a keen eye toward quality
- Develop Construction Documents:
- Read and understand documents detailing architectural and engineering systems, including, but not limited to: code compliance, accessibility compliance, architectural design and drawings, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, and building materials
- Review survey documents for accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to client scope of work
- Identify code compliance and constructability issues with a client's intended design/concept
- Kick off and coordinate with Trileaf's internal and external Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering teams
- Design and draft full sets of Construction Documents for Trileaf's fitness, convenience store, and retail clients
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must show that the applicant possesses the following qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Interior Design required; Master's Degree and/or NCIDQ a plus.
- 3+ years of commercial design practice, production of construction documents, client management, and/or architectural/design team management
- Strong knowledge of code compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong organization, inter-personal, and communication skills
- Computer skills and proficiency with AutoCAD
