Position Summary
Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Membership Coordinator. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.
This role will pay a hourly of $18.
For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays)
This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.
Responsibilities
General Duties:
* Generate revenue through the sale of memberships.
* Responsible for new client prospecting, which includes telephone calls, follow-up from member events, member referrals, networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing relationships.
* Provide proactive member service and timely follow-up that meets and exceeds the Club's standards.
* Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals.
* Contribute toward the maintenance of a professional and ethical image for the Club
* Provide additional support for event management and utilize member events as a forum for retention and member relationship building.
* Sell additional membership benefits as available and promote marketing, networking and sponsorship opportunities to members to ensure full member benefit.
* Enter contact feedback into the database for all retention calls made to members, as well as communicate feedback regularly with the Clubs General Manager and Director of Membership.
* Assist in the coordination of any member contact made by the Club Ambassadors, or board members. Assist with other membership programs and activities as needed.
* Assist and interact with members as well as potential members at all Club hosted or sponsored events by the club.
* Coordinate new member orientation and other Club events as directed by the General Manager or Director of Membership.
* Maintain accurate logs of sales calls and results which are summarized in a computer database.
* Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), plus minimum 6 months related hospitality industry experience and/or training.
* 1-2 years in a sales role, with verifiable sales success.
* Demonstrated proficiency and successful experience in event sales generation, contract negotiation and pricing, event scheduling, training, event, banquets and menu development.
* Ability to work independently both on and off venue property with little supervision or oversight.
* Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on creating word documents, Excel spreadsheets, email); working knowledge of POS systems.
* Ability to adhere to high standard of business etiquette, professional verbal and written communication.
* Ability to consistently represent the Company in a professional, positive and knowledgeable manner.
* Ability to adhere to highest standard of confidentiality and discretion.
* Demonstrated ability to produce detail-oriented, accurate work.
* Ability to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and evenings, as required to ensure outcome.
* Ability to travel to outside sales calls and/or events.
* Proven ability to make solid, appropriate and independent decisions.
