COMMUNITY RELATIONSCOORDINATOR/SALES COUNSELOR Weare looking for the right person to sell the Highgate brand platform topotential residents and their family members. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate SeniorLiving's mission is to devote ourselves to help each resident live a life ofpurpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doing so. We operate communitiesin the western US and are seeking the right Community Relations Coordinatorto join our team as the primary seller of our assisted living and memory carelifestyle. This position includesdriving the sales process, helping new residents move in, planning andimplementing marketing events, knowing the competitive environment, conductingtours with prospects, and external business development. The successful candidate will be an organized and detail-orientedindividual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. You must have strong communicationand computer skills. Excellent time management skills are important along withrelationship building, persistence, flexibility, and adaptability. SKILLS NEEDED: Strong organizational and communicationskillsAbility to engage with people inperson, virtually, via the phone and electronicallyGood customer service skills and theability to intuitPatience, the ability to listen andtenacity to nurture longer term leads through the sales processProficient in MS Office suite and ableto learn database management softwareStrong ability to sell intangibleproducts and/or servicesCapacity to develop strong workingrelationships and work through influenceStrategic thinking to understandmarket dynamics, the effect of competition, and pricing strategiesFinancial acumen to assist ingenerating revenue and managing marketing spendingCapacity and tolerance to understandand accept metric based performance coachingAble to build new relationships thatresult in increased businessComfortable accepting ongoing coachingand feedbackAbility to adapt/respond quickly tochanging requirements and effectively balance priorities to meet deadlinesAn understanding or the willingness togain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how residents withdementia can continue live with purpose RELATABLE EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in major decision and major investment selling Prior experience in marketing, cold calling, metric based positions Past roles in which you have balancedsales objectives while problem solvingOpportunities from your past whereyou have demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion to varying groups andindividuals while helping them find solutions to significant life issuesJobs where you have gained knowledgeof the senior population and how aging can affect a personRoles where you were responsible togenerate new business, new leads, new revenue sourcesPrior professional roles in the hospitality,healthcare, or senior care industryJobs you demonstrated success inachieving specific goals or benchmarks routinely QUALIFICATIONS:1- At least 21 years of age 2- At least 2 years in direct sellingsales roles 3- Sales or marketing education is a plus 4- Current negative TB test 5- Must be capable of initiating contactand conversations with people 6- Ability to pass criminalrecord/background check 7- Willing to work some weekends and/orevening hours 8- Valid driver's license with aqualifying driver abstract 9- Be efficient and exercise good timemanagement skills 10- Must be able to work wellindependently with little oversight 11- Must have a track record of top-notchorganizational abilities and communication skills As an organization we offer our team members agood benefits package, the ability to be heard, have their opinions aboutthings count and the opportunity to innovate. Our compensation package will be flexible for this role based on thecredentialing, tenure and skill sets each candidate brings for consideration. Theannual wage range for this position is $52,000 to $70,000 per year plus a performance-basedcommission and bonus plan that can be up to 40% of base wage. Priorexperience working with seniors is preferred. A passion for your work and a commitment to serving others are essentialjob qualifications.
