The person in this role must be able to work a hybrid schedule in one of the posted locations.

This position is designed for an individual who not only thrives in technical design and implementation but also excels as a problem solver. Whether addressing customer challenges, gaps in the product portfolio, or internal design and production issues, this role requires proactive identification of problems and creative solutions!

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Design and build prototypes of new technologies, using a strong understanding of design and manufacturing methods, including sheet metal design, hydraulic system design, and control theory

Develop and design customized solutions that integrate seamlessly into data center environments and meet customer needs

Address customer issues, identify gaps in the product portfolio, and resolve internal design or production challenges

Serve as the go-to expert for developing innovative solutions that address operational needs while collaborating with internal teams (sales, services) and external partners (vendors) to ensure seamless implementation.

Deliver integrated solutions from concept to implementation

Be on the forefront of technology by being the Subject Matter Expert for initial deployments of new data center power, cooling, and mechanical products and solutions

Stay informed of industry trends to innovate data center cooling technologies and integrated solutions

Spearhead sophisticated projects and lead cross-functional teams to deliver the best solutions

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Expertise in liquid and air cooling, power distribution, energy efficiency, and advanced design/manufacturing methods (e.g., sheet metal, hydraulic systems, control theory).

Proficiency in software tools, communication protocols, networking topologies, and command line interfaces.

Demonstrated ability to prototype new technologies rapidly and solve complex technical challenges collaboratively.

Flexibility to travel up to 30% as required
