Job Description

This position is located in National Capital Parks-East, in the Maintenance Division. The incumbent provides first level supervision, planning, and direction for a group of nonsupervisory workers engaged in the operations, maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, preservation, and project management oversight of heavily utilize roads, bridges, and trails. The incumbent of the position will work directly under the Branch Chief of Roads and Trails. .

Job Requirements

Condition of Employment: This position requires that the incumbent must possess a valid State or District of Columbia Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). NOTE: A copy of your State or District of Columbia Class B CDL will be requested during the pre-employment process if you are selected for this position. If you are not able to provide proof that you possess a Class B CDL your application will be withdrawn from consideration. In addition to the Condition of Employment, you must also meet the requirements below: To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to lead and Supervise (SCREEN OUT) Work Practices (including keeping things neat, clean, and in order) Reliability and Dependability as an Engineering Equipment Operator Supervisor Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation) Ability to Operate Safely (Non-Motor Vehicle) Ability to Drive Safely (Motor Vehicle) Operation of motor vehicles If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
