These are temporary appointment positions not to exceed 1039 hours. This is an open continuous announcement. Applicants will be referred throughout the announcement period. Job Requirements

All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. You must meet level 2 on the screen out factor/element and an average of level 2 on all factors/elements. For Wage Grade: Applicants must be physically fit and, as required in Office of Personnel Management Federal Wage System Qualifications, must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the elements listed in Section 25 of the Online Occupational Questionnaire to perform the duties of the position at the level for which they are applying. A specific length of time and experience is not required; however, you must be able to demonstrate the rough experience shown in your written application, that you possess sufficient knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen Out) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order) Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (other than blueprints) Ability To Use and Maintain tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Must be able to perform the common laboring tasks without more than normal supervision: Operate motor vehicles such as sedans and pickup trucks (up to 10,000 GVW) for picking up supplies and transporting equipment, personnel and materials. Operate power equipment, such as lawn mowers and a variety of types of common hand tools and light power tools (such as shovels, racks, lawn edging equipment, circular saws, electric drills, etc.). Load and unload supplies and materials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. Perform janitorial duties, such as cleaning sinks, toilets, sweeping floors, and emptying trash. I can lift and carry objects weighing over 50 pounds. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. CTAP/ICTAP: Current surplus and current or former displaced Federal individuals who have special priority selection rights under the Agency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) must be well qualified for the position to receive consideration for special priority selection. Well qualified means that the applicant meets the following: OPM qualification standards for the position; all selective placement factors, where applicable; special qualifying conditions that OPM has approved for the position, where applicable; is physically qualified with reasonable accommodation, where appropriate to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position upon entry; and is rated by the organization at least at the well qualified level on all competencies. Federal employees seeking CTAP/ICTAP eligibility must submit proof that they meet the requirements of 5 CFR 330.605(2) for CTAP or 5 CFR 330.704 for ICTAP. This includes a copy of the agency notice, a copy of their most recent Performance Rating, and a copy of their most recent SF-50 noting current position, grade level, and duty location.
