Maintenance Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW Aman Rosa Alpina, set in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our luxury boutique hotel. As Maintenance Manager, you will report to the General Manager and lead a dedicated team to maintain the property’s systems, utilities, and facilities to the highest standards. From electrical and plumbing to heating systems and fireplaces, your expertise will be critical in preserving the hotel’s exceptional guest experience. Aman Rosa Alpina is located in San Cassiano Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. RESPONSIBILITIES Overseeing proactive maintenance and ensuring all areas of the property are functional and well-maintained. Managing routine and preventive maintenance programs, including CARE initiatives. Controlling departmental budgets and optimizing resources. Leading, training, and motivating a team of maintenance professionals. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and certifications. Hands-on involvement in tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, boiler maintenance, pool upkeep, and more. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or resort as a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. Strong expertise in electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling systems, and fireplace maintenance. Fluency in English and Italian. Ability to adapt to the challenges of a remote, rural location. Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Excellent problem-solving skills and experience handling emergency maintenance situations.
