Senior PHP Developer - Laravel

Key Responsibilities : - Develop, document, and maintain high-quality Laravel backends for various web applications. - Collaborate with the Application Development team to create innovative and state-of-the-art applications. - Prepare and manage applications using standard development tools. - Enhance existing data services APIs and utilize backend data services effectively. - Lead the entire web application development lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery and post-launch support. - Communicate project progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and any technical or process-related issues effectively to stakeholders. - Document development processes, architectural decisions, and standard components. - Coordinate with co-developers and keep the Project Manager informed about the development status, acting as a liaison between development staff and management. - Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in web development. Qualifications : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP frameworks like Laravel or or Symfony. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. - In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and the latest version of the Laravel PHP framework. - Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design. - Proficient in MongoDB and MySQL. - Experience with software testing tools such as PHPUnit, PHPSpec, and Behat. - Knowledge of MySQL profiling and query optimization. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and efficient approach to challenges. - Awareness of web security issues, including XSS, DDoS attacks, cookie hijacking, and SQL injection (ref:hirist.tech)
