My client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Visitor Attractions Sales Planning Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Sales Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales strategies, optimizing pricing, and managing ticket inventory to ensure the continued success and growth of our attractions. What You'll Do:
- You will be responsible for creating and implementing robust sales strategies that maximize ticket sales across all attractions. Your expertise in dynamic pricing and multi-attraction ticketing will be crucial in optimizing revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- By proactively identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities, you will help drive business growth and achieve ambitious sales targets. You'll leverage your strong sales background to identify trends, adjust strategies, and stay ahead of the competition.
- Oversee the daily management of ticket inventory and booking systems, including API integrations and integrated timing systems. You'll monitor selling patterns, forecast demand, and provide insights to optimize inventory levels and meet both customer demand and financial goals.
- Work closely with Travel Trade sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure the alignment of sales plans with broader business objectives. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively will be key to your success.
- Own the sales targets and KPIs for the Visitor Attractions department. You'll regularly monitor performance, prepare detailed reports, and present forecasts and recommendations to executive management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Develop and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations.
What We're Looking For:
- You have proven experience in sales planning and inventory management, ideally within the visitor attractions, events, or hospitality industries. Familiarity with ticketing and booking systems is essential, along with experience managing APIs.
- Strong analytical skills are a must. You'll be able to interpret data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
- As a natural leader, you'll have excellent team management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to inspire and guide others will ensure success within your team and across departments.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, you are capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high standard of performance.
- You are always looking ahead, generating innovative ideas and solutions that align with customer demand and business goals.
Additional Information: This role requires occasional evening and weekend work, depending on attraction schedules and special events.
