Procurement Director

As they embark on an exciting period of growth, Delifresh is seeking a passionate and dynamic Procurement Director to join the Board and lead Procurement and New Product Development (NPD). This critical role will partner closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative, high-quality products that align with Delifreshs values-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the procurement and NPD strategy to support business growth.
• Identify and source innovative, sustainable products from regional, national, and international suppliers that align with Delifreshs commitment to quality.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team and customers to ensure procurement aligns with market needs, delivering product relevance and excellence.
• Motivate and inspire a team of buyers and NPD professionals to foster creativity, performance, and innovation.
• Set, measure, and report on procurement and NPD performance, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Build strategic supplier relationships while managing inventory and ensuring operational feasibility.
• Champion Delifreshs core values, embedding them into every aspect of procurement and NPD processes.

• Significant leadership experience in procurement, ideally within fresh food supply.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiations, supplier management, and budgeting.

• Experience leading in a fast-paced environment with diverse, multi-location customers.
