Voice Engineer (FTC)

The Platform Services and Build department are responsible for the architectural design, engineering and ongoing maintenance of our Six Degrees core network that underpins our Connectivity, Cloud and Unified Communication / Voice products and revenue.

Our Voice Engineers are responsible for designing, installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting voice communication systems. The role will work closely with the Head of UC and Voice on the end-to-end delivery of voice customer projects. This involves supporting existing clients through incident and change tickets, number porting and platform maintenance.

You will work closely with our Head of UC and Voice on the end-to-end delivery of voice projects as well as supporting our clients through incident and change tickets, Platform renewal Projects and Platform maintenance.

A focus of the role will include evaluating project plans and assessing the feasibility and facilitating supplier discussions and building confidence and trust from customers, stakeholders within and outside the voice team. You will also be tasked with configuring systems for customer migration and conducting thorough post-migration testing.

The role will involve conducting daily inspections of the infrastructure and communicate any identified issues to the Engineering team. Our Voice Engineers oversee customer endpoints and Core Infrastructure using multiple monitoring systems and troubleshoot complex faults.

We think it's important that you've had qualifications in Ribbon PSX SoftSwitch / Ribbon Swe SBC /Audiocodes SBC / Ribbon C20 Soft switch or SIP School.

If you possess experience in working with telecommunications solutions utilising Ribbon C20 and AudioCodes SBCs, and preferably have a background in voice infrastructure or a Level 2/3 support engineering position we'd love for you to get in contact.
