Job Description

  • Location: Caribbean

Leading contractor seeks a Site Engineer for Luxury Residential and Resort development projects within the Caribbean region.

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar equivalent)
  • Between 5-8 years postgraduate experience in the field preferably from within a UK Tier 1 Contractor environment as a Site Engineer, or Section Engineer.
  • Project experience on New Build schemes from £5m - £30m+
  • Strong RC experience is essential
  • Strong experience in Setting Out using Leica TS16 or Topcon.
  • Good experience with laser and dumpy levels is important, as well as setting up and managing control points.
  • QA/QC
  • Experienced in setting out Slabs, Columns, and Ring Beams.
  • Temporary Works
  • Buried Service
  • Concrete Testing experience
  • Assist with the production of as-built drawings (AutoCAD)
  • Competency with CAD and uploading setting out points to the total station from the CAD model.
  • Interpretation of engineering designs and specifications
  • Needs to be a leader will manage and supervise small works crews when required
  • Experience of working on water retaining structures will be highly advantageous.
  • Working towards Chartership would also be a bonus too.
