Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Designer with detailed experience in high-end fit-outs who can support delivering luxury restaurant projects as part of the design team. This role will be based in our Head Office in London with travel to the projects required.


The purpose of this job is to work closely with the Directors and Lead Designers, to provide interior Architecture and FF&E design direction and delivery across global Azumi projects.


Making it Happen:


  • Collaborate with Lead Designers to create impactful presentations for project concepts.
  • Inspire the team with fresh ideas and innovative design solutions.
  • Design bespoke furniture, lighting, and (when relevant) custom upholstery.
  • Present and confidently communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Lead projects with strong communication and exceptional client service.
  • Apply skilled space planning and knowledge of building regulations and planning.
  • Attend design meetings, assist in technical and conceptual design phases.
  • Produce detailed design intent packages, drawings, and project documentation.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and oversee consultant and supplier information.
  • Address complex challenges with strategic, solution-oriented thinking.
  • Ensure efficient project closeout by rectifying snags and finalising tasks.
  • Help establish design standards and ensure adherence across the team.
  • Streamline processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to Senior Management.
  • Support junior designers through mentoring, guidance, and procedural training.
  • Promote a positive work culture, team spirit, and continuous growth.
