Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit-out & Refurbishment
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for procurement, including risk identification and mitigation, fostering sustainable client relationships, and efficient contract management with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will coordinate and negotiate terms with stakeholders, maintain accurate records of costs, contracts, and procurement activities, and keep projects within budget. The role involves regular team collaboration and project updates to ensure alignment. You will also monitor and forecast construction expenses for materials, labor, equipment, and related costs, ensuring cost-effective and compliant procurement practices that meet project specifications.

Requirements:
* Over 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or fit-out contractor
* In-depth understanding of commercial and construction contracts, including JCT
* Experience in hospitality and leisure fit-out projects up to £8 million is preferred
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage diverse people, tasks, and responsibilities
* Highly organized, proactive, and skilled at implementing procedures to manage all project aspects effectively
* Solid commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate terms with various stakeholders
