HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 drivers required for ongoing, full-time work based from a depot in Severn Beach, BS35. Only 6 months Class 1 experience required for this role, a great opportunity for newly qualified drivers!

• Pay rates £17 - £22 per hour PAYE, depending on shift pattern
• 5 days per week Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday
• AM drivers required to start 0300 0600
• PM drivers required to start 1700 2000
• Weekly pay, start ASAP
• Overtime available
• Holiday pay on accrual basis
• Canteen and free parking on site

Breakdown of pay rates

• Monday to Friday AM rate - £17 per hour PAYE
• Monday to Friday PM rate - £18 per hour PAYE
• Saturday rate - £20 per hour PAYE
• Sunday rate - £22 per hour PAYE

About the job

• Daily vehicle checks
• A variety of work - palletised deliveries, cages, some trunk runs
• Completing delivery paperwork as required

The right candidate

• UK Class 1 driving licence, Full CPC and Digi card.
• 6 months of recent and relevant HGV driving experience
• Excellent communication skills
