This is a hands-on, lifestyle, administrative role. Looking for a quality candidate to oversee a community residential facility for teens. Position requires BA degree in the social work/psychology/criminal justice fields, plus a minimum of 2 year experience in a supervisory role. You will be licensed and approved by the State of Colorado in order to hold this position therefore must have an excellent driving record, clean background check, as well as three strong references to speak to your ability to fulfill the requirements of the job, as well as speak to your character. Position runs Monday-Friday 9-5 plus on call for emergencies. Salaried position starts at $40,000/year with room for advancement as well as an opportunity for health benefits through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Duties included but not limited to:

Learning program requirements/regulations and ensuring they are completed with each resident and staff in the home.

Overseeing staff members and mentors, up to 8 employees at one time, to include scheduling.

Attending monthly staff meetings, directors' meetings, as well as trainings held throughout the year.

Utilizing trauma informed models to work with each resident, ensuring their needs are being met and are being held accountable.

Proper budgeting of monthly allowance to ensure community activities take place as well as house needs are met.

Light housekeeping/cooking

Use of the TRAILS system though the state of Colorado, inputting into their system any crisis residents experience

Proper filing of resident's information, ensuring state regulations are being completed.

Ensuring each resident medical, mental health, and educational needs are being met, to include communication with teachers, therapists, doctors, etc.

Communicating in a professional manner with each residents DHS team, to include Caseworkers, GAL, CASA, families, etc.

**Must have a desire to work with difficult youth and have an understanding that this stems from trauma and abuse

***Ability to be kind, compassionate, empathetic, but FIRM, a must!!
