Job Description: The Head Chef will oversee the entire operations of the restaurant kitchen and back of house. Building and developing a strong team of professionals through training, mentoring and development. You must lead by example following policies, procedures and our companys values. The Head Chef should have a strong knowledge of Seafood and be fully conversant in this area.

The person in this position must be able to control stock and maintain margin levels while staying focused on providing excellent dining quality. The right candidate will be able to communicate efficiently and respectfully with the rest of the team and Managers.

Qualifications:

Happy to consider a strong and experienced Sous chef

Must have 3-5 years proven culinary experience.

Exceptional communication skills are a must for the Head Chef

You must be skilled in team engagement and training

The ideal candidate must have seafood knowledge and experience

The ideal candidate must have a proven ability to maintain all applicable health and safety standards

This position requires a positive, energetic can do attitude
