The Headlines:
This role of Supply Manager – Industrial Supplies & Services, is based in Milwaukee, WI and enjoys the flexibility of a 3-in/2-remote hybrid schedule. You will be responsible for executing category strategies focused on spare parts & operations support, and driving the 7S of MCBC Procurement: Supplier Relationship Management, Stakeholder Management, Supply Risk Management, Sustainability & Innovation, Systems & Governance, Sourcing Strategy, and Supplier Diversity.
This position reports to the Category Manager – Industrial Supplies & Services and works closely with our operations stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Successful candidates will enjoy working with both people and data, and will be able to showcase both of these skills with examples of successful project execution.
The Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiations and implementation activities. Provide data and analytics to Category Manager and seek feedback as required.
- Ensure contract compliance and manage key suppliers via score-carding and regular, formal Business Reviews.
- Develop and own Category Strategy with support of Category Manager
- Present Category Strategy to Procurement Leadership and stakeholders for alignment.
- Responsible for delivering category objectives for North America
- Provide key project updates to Category Manager regularly
- Develop timeline and identify critical risks that may impact deliverables.
- Proactively work with Category Manager on direction and ways to mitigate hold-ups.
- Provide clear tasking to Procurement Analyst to maximize efficiency in this role.
- Maintain a YoY savings target
- Manage multiple supplier relationships via effectively SRM
- Utilize out-of-box thinking to tap spend and/or supplier consolidation opportunities.
- Liaise with Brewery Procurement Leads and align on pipeline projects.
- Work closely with e-Procurement team for bidding projects as well as analysis for compliant bids.
- Work with Legal teams to ensure a timely implementation of all contracts.
- Responsible for assessing category risks and recommend alternatives to better supply assurance.
- Other duties as assigned by the Category Manager.
The Other Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of relevant experience.
- SAP experience (MRP systems), ARIBA and Industry certification (ISM, CIPS) are preferred
- You are strong at performing sourcing activities including spend analysis, market research, and negotiating contracts.
- You enjoy supporting stakeholders, live with a growth mindset, and are able to drive strategic company initiatives forward through successful change management.
- You have experience in multi-national category management and liaising with international teams.
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience (4+ years) in lieu of a degree.
