MTRP Ltd
Senior Planner
Job Location
Manchester, United Kingdom
Job Description
The Company:
A leading Contractor whose NW Construction team would generally deliver larger valued projects for public and private sector clients.
Successfully completed schemes have been in the commercial, residential, retail and leisure sectors.
They are well established in the North West and have good mutually beneficial relationships with private sector clients who have given them a number of repeat schemes.
They earn above average margins on schemes they have an impressive pipeline of work for 2024-25 and beyond.
The Position:
The role is largely site based on a large, new build; mixed use development based in Greater Manchester. Other schemes in preconstruction that you’ll be involved with include a hotel and a multi storey scheme based in central Manchester. Some time can be spent in the office and home working too particularly through preconstruction.
You will prepare and monitor programmes, updating the site team, subcontractors and clients/consultants.
You'll contribute to best practice and continuous improvement.
They use Asta so experience of using this would be handy.
Full Job Description available for review.
You:
It's a key role so as you’d expect they need an experienced Senior Planner who has worked on chunky building projects of a similar nature to be successful in this role.
You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West of England daily.
You'll be IT literate with experience using specialist planning software – ideally ASTA.
Rewards:
If successful you will be joining a small close knit regional building business who are part of a larger construction group so have the benefits of working for a smaller business where your thoughts and actions are appreciated more but with the financial clout stability of working with a £Multibillion turnover Group.
They offer a good salary and benefits package, and are securing varied and significant, eye catching projects.
They have a hybrid working policy in place that means you can work from home, office/site or a mixture of both.
They have a good employee development programme and are adept at supporting new starters who join their team
