£60,000 - £70,000+ 25% bonus+ benefits

Compass Associates is a leading UK Health and Social Care Recruitment Consultancy. We are partnering with a prestigious retirement living provider who have been established for over 40 years and operate in 19 locations across the UK.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our new flagship retirement village in Chester. You will create a vibrant community where residents can age well, form friendships, and enjoy an exceptional living experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement operational plans for the village, aligning with our strategic goals.
* Drive excellence in hospitality and customer experience, fostering strong relationships with residents and the community.
* Manage P&L accounts, budgets, and revenue streams to ensure financial health.
* Oversee property management and ensure a safe, compliant environment for residents.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills:
* Builds strong Resident and customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
* Visionary leader who motivates others and builds strong relationships.
* Strategic thinker who anticipates future possibilities and makes timely decisions.
* Strong financial acumen to guide business decisions.
* Effective communicator who understands diverse audience needs.
* Collaborative team player who holds self and others accountable.
Qualifications:
* 3-6 years of general management experience in a similar setting.
* Strong operational and financial acumen.
* Proven ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
* A retirement village background would be preferable, but happy to consider candidates with a hospital background or hotel management, especially within luxury, 5* hotels
