Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Create and update seasonal menus that reflect contemporary British cuisine while incorporating local ingredients and flavors.
• Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Training & Development: Mentor and train kitchen staff, promoting skill development and career growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary British cuisine and culinary techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Creative flair and passion for food innovation.
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
