Job Description
Are you passionate about preparing nutritious and tasty meals for children? Term Time Teachers is looking for a Part-Time After-School Cook to work in a friendly and vibrant primary school. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking and wants to make a positive impact on young students by providing wholesome meals after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, and cook healthy meals for primary school students during after-school hours for up to 100 pupils.
Ensure all meals meet dietary and nutritional guidelines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in accordance with health and safety standards.
Manage inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment.
Work closely with school staff and Term Time Teachers to ensure smooth meal service.
Work PM Shifts 13:30-18:00 and 14:30-17:30 on Friday. Requirements:
Hold an Enhanced Child DBS or be willing to get one.
Hold a level 2 in Food, safety and Hygiene.
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role (preferably within an educational setting).
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Passion for cooking and a commitment to promoting healthy eating for children.Benefits:
