Job Description

Our client a leading interiors main contractor, specializing in commercial, education and hospitality projects. With a growing portfolio of exciting projects, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and stable team.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing costs, contracts, and financial outcomes for interior fit-out projects. Working closely with the Contracts Managers, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure our projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the highest quality standards. Typical schemes are between £500k and £5 million.

Key Responsibilities

* Contract Administration: Oversee contracts, manage variations, and ensure timely payments.

* Risk Management: Identify cost risks and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.

* Valuations: Prepared on a monthly basis

* Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and ensure delivery of high-quality work.

* Reporting: Provide regular cost reporting and updates.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior fit-out or construction industry.

* Strong understanding of construction contracts.

* Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to deliver accurate work to deadlines.

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Salary

* Upto £75,000 per annum plus car / allowance and benefits package.
