Senior / Project Manager
Main Contractor - heavy refurbishment commercial & residential
Central and West London
£80,000 - £100,000, excellent bonus scheme, travel, pension and healthcare
CSC Recruitment are working with a very selective and market leading main contractor who boast an impressive track record of unique projects over the last 30 years. This main contractor work with industry-leading architects, engineers, interior designers, and highly skilled tradespeople on a project portfolio ranging from the UK's most recognisable listed attractions to cutting-edge contemporary structures.
They are now looking for a Senior / Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
There annual turnover has been steadily around £150m for the last 20 years. They specialise in high end residential, high spec commercial and retail fitout, museum, hotels and other high-end brands. Project values are generally around £25m but will go up to £50m for the right client.
Impressivel,y they choose not to tender in the open market for works, nearly all their projects are chosen specifically based on client, profit and profile.
The Role
As a Senior / Project Manager, you will oversee site operations, leading the delivery of all aspects of the project, reporting into the Construction Director. Overseeing Senior Construction Managers and Construction Managers. You will be able to lead a project from cradle to grave, including all pre-construction elements, planning, delivery and client liaison.
You will ensure that commitments and goals are met through effective communication between teams, both on and off-site, and that work is consistent with the strategy and core values of the company.
Working collaboratively, you will operate across our business to deliver the activities schedule, whilst ensuring that we comply with business processes.
About You
To be considered as a Senior / Project Manager, you will need to demonstrate:
Significant experience in the construction and fitout sectors of the construction market
Extensive knowledge of the operational requirements to deliver projects
Lead project from pre-construction through to handover
The ability to plan and maintain a scale-appropriate site setup
Extensive knowledge of safe systems of work, programme management and control
Working knowledge of Asta Powerproject
An awareness of the importance of change management and the associated risks
The willingness to obtain and maintain necessary health and safety qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are mandatory
