What you will be doing in this role:
The purpose of this role is to manage assets within the BSR Asset Portfolio. The role will ensure compliance, quality and safety standards are adhered too in the construction phase and continue into the operational management of the asset. This role will communicate clear and precise operational and financial performance indicators to key Stakeholders and highlight areas that help support maximising the assets value.
What we need from you:
- Ensure the EPC/O&M are complying with H&S processes during the construction and operational asset phase as part of Client duties.
- Comply with and support the business’s ESG targets relevant to the assets.
- Support the creation and management of asset modelling, budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
- Lead on contract management on behalf of the SPV and resolve any disputes or issues.
- Review and deliver detailed asset performance reports for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyse the operational performance of renewable energy assets.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure financial targets are met with an ability to analyse and follow up on variances.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to optimise lifecycle asset performance and efficiency, to safeguard its value.
- Collaborate with key individuals within the wider business on financial aspects of project operating contracts and statutory obligations.
- Support negotiating contract terms and managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting where applicable.
- Ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage any warranty or insurance claims with support from key personnel within the business.
- Participate and collaborate in the development and ongoing improvement of the Group’s Business Management System.
- Maintain relevant professional, technical and sectoral knowledge to an appropriate level.
Skill requirement:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or proven and successful Asset Management experience.
- Desirable experience with PPA, CfDs and Offtakers.
- Use of analytical tools and risk management techniques to identify quality and performance issues.
- Strong knowledge of technical aspects of utility scale renewable assets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly for presenting analysis and recommendations to stakeholders and translating technical information for non-technical teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritise work and organise teams to work collaboratively.
- An excellent listener and strong communication skills.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations.
