Chef | Saffron Walden Golf Club, Essex | 40 hrs a week | £31,000 per annum

Saffron Walden Golf Club, the top-rated golf course in Essex, is seeking a friendly and motivated Chef. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, enjoy working as part of a team, and also thrive independently. The club features a 120-person clubhouse with a bar and catering facility, known for its outstanding personal service and high-quality cuisine.
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, ‘hands-on’ attitude
Ideally hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
Works well under pressure
Good understanding of allergens
What You'll Do:
Prepare and cook fresh food for daily service and functions
Maintain high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe, adhering to club rules
Lead by example and ensure adherence to health & safety standards
