Architectural Technologist

A small but dynamic Design Practice in the Rayleigh area are looking to recruit an Architect / Architectural Technologist to work on a diverse range of residential, hospitality and industrial projects. If you have Architectural design experience with current Building Regulations knowledge and reside in the South Essex area then this company can give you the opportunity to work on varied and bespoke high profile projects.

Duties:

• Carry out measured surveys
• Carry out technical detailing
• Produce feasibility, planning and construction drawings
• Prepare tender packages
• Produce site plans, street scenes, and 3D CGI's
• Attend site visits
• Liaise between client, contractor and specialist consultants

Candidate requirements:

• A HNC / Level 4 or higher in Architecture or Construction Studies is required
• Experience gained in an architectural or design company is essential
• Must have a good technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations
• Local knowledge of the South Essex area is a must
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential
• Experience with Sketch-Up and/or Photoshop is advantageous.
• Interior design knowledge would also be beneficial.

Company benefits:

• Salary £26,000 - £34,000
• Hours 9.00 - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Free onsite parking
